Palermo’s sea and beaches
Beach of Capaci – The beach is about ten kilometers from Palermo and it is bordered by the beach of the Isle of Women, and together they make a beautiful very long beach, it consists of fine white sand, bathed by a beautiful turquoise and crystalline sea. Mondello – It is the most beautiful and famous beach of the city of Palermo. And it is long about a kilometer and a half, and it is the favorite beach of tourists and Palermo’s citizens. The Praiola Terrasini – It is a picturesque cove of white sand bordered by high cliffs below the city of Terrasini. From here you can see the famous cliffs of Terrasini. The sea is beautiful and clear, with crystal clear and blue water.
Beach of Balestrate – It is a long and beautiful beach with fine sand and it still maintains a’ very pristine look. The sea is quite shallow water for several meters from the shore and therefore also suitable for children.
Sferracavallo in Palermo – It is a small fishing village in the municipality of Palermo, it is situated in a natural environment of great landscape value under Mount Gallo. It is a place famous for its typical restaurants within walking distance from the sea where it is cooked fresh fish. The beach is sandy and also rocks, close to the old fishing village.
Cala Gallo Palermo – It is a beautiful nature reserve at the foot of Mount Gallo rich in vegetation. With three kilometers of wild coast shows a rocky coast and bathed by the crystalline sea of green-blue color, with waters rich in flora and fauna.

Beach Virgin Mary of Palermo – Dominated by the massive and impressive mass of Mount Pellegrino few kilometers from Palermo and close the trap Bordonaro, it is this pretty beach frequented mostly by divers and fishermen.
Cefalù Beaches
Beach Caldura Cefalù – It is a lovely pebble beach bathed by a beautiful turquoise sea, clear and transparent, and beside the green trees make up the frame together with high dark jagged and picturesque rocks.

Beach Salinelle Lascari – It is a very long beach bathed by a beautiful blue sea. Salinelle is popular with windsurfers. The beach is equipped and offers a bar and dining options.
Lido di Cefalù – It is the most famous beach in Cefalù and not just because it represents the seafront of the town is also famous for its numerous bars, restaurants, hotels, pubs and many other services for tourists who arrive throughout the year. It is a very nice beach and is about 1.5 kilometers long.
Pollina Cefalu Beach – It is about 9 kilometers from Cefalù. It named after the town of Pollina located upstream and distant from the beach. It is a sandy beach and pretty long fine gravel, with a beautiful clear sea. The beach is very popular, especially by young people, which often they arrange parties with music in the evenings.
